Congratulations to Gary Hults on selection as a Wheatland Community Hall of Fame Volunteer of Distinction for 2022. Gary is a long-time resident of the Town of Wheatland community, including serving as the community as the Town's Dog Control Officer.


The GWA Chamber of Commerce is proud to be the sponsoring organization for the Wheatland Community Hall of Fame, which includes recognition associated with community volunteerism. A Volunteer of Distinction is someone who freely gives time, effort and talent to a community need, cause or organization without compensation while making positive contributions through demonstrated excellence as a volunteer in support of the Wheatland community.


Gary Hults has demonstrated sustained excellence as a long-time volunteer for the Wheatland Community and beyond, supporting multiple organizations with energy and dedication including the Scottsville American Legion, the Boy Scouts of America and Boys Town among several others. Gary has served in multiple volunteer leadership roles and was selected for "County Legionnaire of the Year" and "7th District Legionnaire of the Year" for his contributions to that organization.
